As a socially responsible local business, Spatialize Consulting is proud to support community groups and charitable trusts through sponsorship, donations, and volunteer efforts.
Each Christmas, we also select additional local charities via Givealittle - chosen for their impact on community wellbeing, conservation, and animal welfare - so we can contribute a little good to the community each year.
We are proud to support the following local initiatives:
PARKRUN WHANGAREI
Part of a global movement, parkrun offers free, weekly 5 km run/walk events held every Saturday morning in communities around the world. Whangārei parkrun brings people together to support health, connection, and wellbeing in a fun, inclusive, and welcoming environment.
Spatialize® contributed to the purchase of the AED used at the Whangārei event, helping improve participant safety. I’m also a regular parkrunner and volunteer, supporting a range of parkrun roles including communications, course checking, pacing, and report writing, as well as contributing my GIS expertise to course map updates. Parkrun is powered entirely by volunteers, and it’s a privilege to contribute to this community event.
NORTH HAVEN HOSPICE
North Haven Hospice provides compassionate palliative care and support for people with life-limiting conditions, along with care for their families and carers across Northland. Spatialize® has supported the organisation through donations in recognition of the important role they play in the community.
CANCER SOCIETY NORTHLAND
The Cancer Society provides support services, information, and advocacy for people affected by cancer throughout Northland, from Kaiwaka to Cape Reinga. Spatialize® has contributed through donations in support of their work in the community.
